Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
